This workshop aims to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the theory and practical application of manual therapy techniques specifically tailored for addressing low back pain. During the workshop, we will explore the latest evidence-based research surrounding the management of low back pain, emphasizing the role of manual therapy interventions. In the theory portion, participants will delve into the underlying causes of low back pain, common risk factors, and the biomechanics of the lumbar spine. We will also discuss the evidence supporting the effectiveness of manual therapy techniques for alleviating pain, improving mobility, and enhancing overall function. In the practical segment, participants will have the opportunity to engage in hands-on demonstrations and practice various manual therapy techniques. Guided by our experienced instructor, attendees will learn how to apply these techniques specifically on a chiropractic treatment bed, ensuring proper positioning, patient comfort, and therapist ergonomics. The practical portion will constitute the majority of the workshop, enabling participants to gain confidence and proficiency in performing manual therapy interventions for low back pain.
